Although I love to brew beer I do have to have a day job. In order to pay the bills I work as a Biochemist at a major university. The lab that I work in uses yeast to study human proteins. This gives me a wonderful opportunity to grow yeast and maintain yeast cultures. I have vast hands on experience with culturing yeast and with good scientific principles. I like to use these two skills to create my own experiments to answer questions I have about brewing.
